Dear Academy Families,
We are pleased (and excited) to provide Academy families with a couple of opportunities to be more involved and more informed as to how the 501c3 Nonprofit intersects with and provides support to Academy Charter School’s school district budget
As we are a working school, with the goal of limiting any disruption to Academy’s primary focus on learning, we are excited to announce that we will provide semiannual opportunities for the public to review and inspect, in-person, any and all receipts, bank statements and accounting records for Academy’s non-profit accounts.
The 3 most recent years of the 501c3 non-profit 990EZ tax filing reports, which include any schedules, attachments, or supporting documents, are available anytime for your perusal on line. (Please find the link at Academy Charter’s Facebook page and Academy’s website.)

Role of Advisory Board
- Represent the voices of students, parents and prospective students
- Focus is on long-term health and vibrancy of school
- Advisory capacity means; we do not get involved in day-to-day operational aspects of the school
Attend Our Next Meeting
Please join us at Academy Charter School on the second Tuesday of the month during normal school days at 3:00 PM. No meetings during June - July. During the summer months no meetings are held. An emergency summer meeting may be called in order for the Board to review any family that may not have fulfilled their parent participation component.
